Property

Pungent, bitter, warm, slightly toxic; liver, lung and kidney meridians entered.

Actions

Break blood and soften hardness, dissipate blood stasis and resolve swelling.

Indications

Abdominal mass, amenorrhea, bone sticking, swollen and hard external ulcer, cardiac spasm.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 3~4.5 g. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded into powder or made ointment for applying.

Cations

It is contraindicated to pregnant women.
